Context

Teacher by profession for a year, I noticed very early on the enthusiasm and motivation that the students have to speak and to reproduce the actions of the new games to which they have had access, others go even far by wanting to embody the main actor in such and such games in real life, evidenced by the deviant behavior of some since they are subject to games carrying messages and acts of violence. Nature lovers, the ingenious idea of ​​putting this disposition and assets which are found in 90% of students in the spotlight through gamification to create the new generation of people not only in Africa but in the world whose first priority is protection of the environment through its way of life.

Mission

Youth for safe earth aims to generate a kind of people who doesn’t need strenght behind him before doing what can be done to proctect our environment each time and every time. Empowering children buy teaching them the basic about computer and the utilization of our website to prototype a very nice game which aims will be to solve the climate issues that their community is facing our can probably face. Through gamification, YFSE wants to improve the current french educational system in our country.

Range of action

We are currently developing interventions in Benin republic with connections from computers science and renewable energy schools and communication networks. Very important to notice that , the climate change effect is not the matter of one country or organization , so , our product is made available for all over the world because is done in 10 local most spoken languages in west africa and two international languanges

Goals

Our target people is children because of our motto « It is easier to build sustainable environment than trying to repair a broken one » , by empowering children we want to :

• - Draw the attention of most young people on the problem that our earth is facing.
• - Build their self esteem up and the spirit of entrepreneurship.
• - Make them aware about the different problem that their community is facing especially in climate change side.
• - Give them the power to take action
• - Generate naturally differents actions to protect the environment.
• - Generate naturally differents actions to protect the environment.
• - Improve our educational system which is thighting to train people for joblessness
• - Go above the simple game and make some solutions happen physically and as the solutions come from them it will be easier to make it place and acceptable for them.
• - Finally have in a decade a really engaged environment lovers.

Programs

All the topics that relate to climate change effects will be developed. it is up to our beneficiaries and the issues that their community is facing . we are just there to implement their suggestions , make it incentive before coming out with greatest and nice game which will be available through phone , computers and others tools in twelve different languages

Strategies

Choosing three communities ( Cotonou Dassa and Malanville) in which around 9.000 secondary students will be submited to the application form. 27 of them will be finally choosed to receive training about basic computer and how to use our website to prototype a nice game which aim will be to solve the climate issues that their community is facing. The rest of the work will be done with YFSE team to bring an affordable and instructive game in ten different local languages and two foreign langues ( english and french)
